Design and Installation - Stonemarket paving stones with Claydale cobbles were chosen for the hard landscaping. The Stonemarket paving gave an instant aged look and with the detailing of the Claydale cobbles, helped tie it in with the house bricks.

The pathway winds its way through the garden giving the impression of more space and also giving us wide beds to create a better depth to the planting. The garden was excavated entirely to a certain depth, not just to accommodate the paving but also to accommodate lots of fresh organic compost which was dug in to enrich the soil prior to planting.

We were happy to leave the planting to the lady of the house - a real enthusiast when it came to gardending and planting. A piece of driftwood was chosen for a water feature. The water feature was underplanted with moisture loving plants such as Primula, Hosta and Ferns.
